I'll take an Advent Calendar - To Go!!

I was thinking about Advent Calendars the other day, the way you do, and I had this idea for one - 24 mini takeout boxes with a gift inside each one to open every day up to Christmas.

Aren't they cute? I'm going to hang mine from the Christmas tree, I think they'll look great! :) Once Christmas is over, I'll just stack the boxes inside eachother and use them again next year!

Oh, and if you're wondering where you can get 24 mini takeout boxes, you'll have the answer sooner than you think! :)

I love this idea Dan!!!!! I have a mini advent calendar thing, but it is too small to hold much of anything. This is a great idea!!! Thanks so much!!!

I love it Dan! This is great if you have more than one child too. With the tiny advent calendars there always seems to be an argument over who opens the package each day! This way you can have an item for each person in the box. I'll say it again, I love it!

SO CUTE!! And you are such a tease!!!

Thanks as always for sharing your creativity and ideas and the cutting files. But mostly Thank You for sharing your TIME. While you may be good at all of this, and are doing it for fun anyway, I do thank you for taking the time to share it all with us. Even though I don't make all the projects you share, I learn from and am inspired by every one of them!

Very nice - I've done this kind of thing for the past couple of years and even made similar to surprise friends for Christmas. You can make this very personal for the recepient and fill them with their favourite things!
