What? No Stamping?!?!?
I'm almost embarrassed to post this here! lol It's a wooden box I've been saving to keep some stationery in, and I decided to cover it with paper from Tim Holtz's Lost and Found card stack. I took the closure off the front first and then...um... stuck paper to it and put the closure back. The top was cut slightly smaller and edged with tissue tape. So simple, but I think it looks really great, so here it is! :)

I think it looks great-stamping or not!
What a super box Dan. Doesn't matter that there isn't any stamping as the whole finish creates a look of age. It looks like the sort of box you would hide treasures & secrets in.
Toni :o)
Very effective and looks great - even without the stamping !!
certainly does look great :)

I love it, it doesn't need any inkness, its all going on in the paper!! (That's what I have been doing for years anyways)!! LOL
What a gorgeous project. Where did you get that box. I want one!
Hay sometimes you just don't need to stamp... I think it looks great :D
That is just fabulous! It looks like is was always that way. Sometimes the paper can do it all without stamping sometimes. Thanks for sharing :)

oooo now I really like that. It looks like a family heirloom :)
Great box but I would say that because Ive just done a commission covering a wooden box like this with the Lost and Found papers.Great minds think alike!
It looks fantastic. I love the way it turned out, even without the stamping/inking. Sometimes we all need a reminder to look at the simple things also.
Oh I love that box! Now I am going to have to spend the summer at tag sales finding things like that so I can bring them home and redo "Dan" style. I think it is really sharp!
Just love this box. I have boxes that I couldn't figure out what to do with.
I have been very lazy in my crafting, and just reintroduced myself to your Blog. I stamp like a 5 year old. I am so impressed by all your work and made a committment to get moving and learning.
I am in need of direction, so your Blog is a good place to start.
Thanks for sharing your work.
