Well, I saw that bandwagon truckin' on by, and I just had to jump on it, didn't I? LOL
Here is my take on a grungepaper rose. It's the first one I've made, and I need a little more practise in folding the petals just right, but I don't think it's too bad all things considered! LOL The rose shown is cut from cardstock, inked, stamped, assembled and rock candy stickle-d. I have also cut one from grungepaper but I haven't assembled it yet, so will add that one later!
And here's the grungepaper version, a much better result, I think you'd agree!
I can see now why these are usually made from grungepaper, it's much easier to work with, more forgiving and gives a much better curl on the petals!

Great result for a first attempt - look forward to seeing the 'grunge' one.
Toni :o)
Very nice...need to find out how to do that. I think I have an SVG file somewhere for petals for something similar to this. Gotta do this and break out my radiant rains. I'm thinking to cut them out of watercolor paper...hmmm...how about fused dryer sheets??? Uh oh...I know what I will be doing this weekend (hopefully). Hugs, rockin robin
well they both look great Dan but the grunge one just has the edge, be good to see what you do with them x
Nice rose :) see you finally got hooked ..lol
Lovely Dan...well done...xoxo
Lovely roses Dan! I actually think that china blue version is gorgeous but can see that the grngepaper one curled better.

I thought the wreath Tim had looked good but I absolutely love your take on the rose, so beautiful. And then you go and top it with the grungepaper one. Well done, yet another masterpiece.

Looks fab Dan. I haven't tried one yet, but I do have an unopened pack of grungepaper somewhere. One day....
I have received my grunge paper today in the mail and this is brilliant inspiration - thank you once again
