Holding out for a hero!

The theme over on the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge is "Hero" this week.  As ever, Simon Says Stamp have a great prize on offer - a $50 spending spree in their online store!  Even better, the winner is chosen at random from those who enter, so even if you're feeling a little heroically challenged, you've as good a chance as anyone else of winning! :)

As some of you may know, I'm not taking part in this week's and last week's challenges (I'll be back in the thick of it from this time next week), but I did take a look through my "back catalogue" as it were, to see if I'd made anything in the past that would fit in with this week's theme.  What I love so much about recent challenges is how open they've been to interpretation, making it much easier to tweak your pieces so you can take part.  Here are 5 of mine that fit the bill.  The first two use stamps by Hero Arts, so they were a shoe-in!

This piece uses the Hero Arts chevron cling stamp.

This piece uses the Hero Arts Dots cling stamp.
These next 3 are inspired by one of my all-time heroes, Kate Bush.  (OK, OK, I know that strictly speaking she's a heroine but as I said earlier, that's the great thing about Simon Says Stamp challenges, they're open to a little wiggle room!)

So, there you have it, a little group of "heroes", now it's your turn!  Head over to the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge blog and see how the other memebers of the team have interpreted this week's challenge, then give it a try yourself!

Don't forget, Simon Says Stamp have a great Facebook page too!  Check them out here!

A super collection of pieces Dan. Very varied but as you say, still linked to the theme.
