Mmm, ch-ch, mmm, aah!

First of all, 50 bonus points to anyone who gets the reference in the title!  (I'm afraid it also means you're probably over the hill, like me! lol)

Here's another card I made while staying with Hels last weekend.  I've shown it twice cos there was a bit of discussion about which way up it should go.  My favourite is the first way, which is yours?  :)

WEll either you can´t sleep like me or this is preprogrammed post at almost FOUR in the morning....I really like the piece and as far as which way is up...mmmmmm ,,,I better sleep on it bacause I can´t make up my mind. It looks fab in both directions but since I am lacking in better judgement at such a wweeee hour I just can´t make up my mind,,,this one that one,,no that one....you see I am hopeless. I need my beauty rest before I make such an important decision. I will be back after I have 40 winks...ok
Now you go get some rest!!!

"Riding along on my push-bike, Honey ...." Love it Dan! Sounds like you and Hels are a really "crafty" duo, lol

I must be an old fart as well, the song being the pushbike song.. was it by mungo gerry? but more importantly love the colours you have used. Great card.

You have me stumped with the title Dan, although I'm sure I'll be saying..."of course it is!!" when someone enlightens me LOL

I prefer the first version - the 'rope' works better for me going down the card rather than across. Great card though, any which way.

Love the card Dan and the colours. The song that immediately came to mind was not so 'old'! LOL. It was....'I Want To Ride My Bicycle' by Queen but then that title in your post isn't in the song! Duh! *Ü* I do prefer the first image.

I love the applique image on your apron in a previous post and what a fab pressie. Also...the Daz post did make me smile. It reminds me of my childhood...my mum (bless her, she was 97 in May) ALWAYS used Daz. Do you remember the DJ - Alan Freeman who did the commercial for Daz...or was it OMO? LOL. Well one of the soap powders. I LOVE nostalgia. TFS. ~Glen~

I should have know but had forgotten that song!!

I prefer the second version. I think I prefer it because I live 'downhill' from the mountains and if I drive in certain places, I can see the Rockies in the distance. The rope line is like the horizon.
I love your work and follow your blog for a year now!

Yup I am over the hill and I think I agree with you. The first direction is by far the best. It is extraordinary that by turning it 90 degrees it looks different. Great make.

Nothing wrong with the second picture, but I like the first one too. Great card. The song? Pushbike song.... was it Mungo Jerry? Jude.x
