The background is Kraft Resist card stock, wiped with Fired Brick distress stain. The stars were stamped with black archival ink, and the centres coloured with a white pen. David was stamped separately and then coloured with alcohol markers, cut out and fixed in place. I finally added a black matte and then fixed the whole thing to my card.
Our ever-generous sponsor Simon Says Stamp is offering a $50 gift voucher as the prize again this week! The winner will be chosen at random from those who enter the challenge, so why not give it a try? At the very least why not head over to the Challenge Blog to see how the other members of the design team have interpreted this weeks theme! :)

My first thought was that you would use 'David' and there he is...
Great project Dan.
Toni :o)
Loving this piece! It's got a real "graphic novel" feel to it, with that bright shock of hair and the hard transition from David's face to the background. Very striking indeed.

Super Dan!
Looks great... you sure know what to do with that guy!
Dan, I love your card. Love the David stamp and the stars you chose to stamp over the Fired Brick wiped onto the Kraft Resist. Lots of technique here...but it all works beautifully together. <3 Candy

I thought it would be the sneakers...maybe a nice blue this time...LOL. David is a nice stamp too. He sort of grows on you. (Maybe David is wearing the sneakers).
Dan, being a frequent visitor of your blog I wasn't surprised to see your favorite but absolutely love the versatile ways you use and love this stamp!! :)
