Video Tutorial - Removing Parts of an SVG Image

In one of the online groups I belong to (SureCutsALotUsers) there has recently been some discussion about ways to remove parts of an SVG image using the Inkscape program. I decided to make this short video to demonstrate a couple of the methods I use.

    Ohhh Dan thanks for this, I needed to work this out yesterday but ended up cutting a millon things instead of one. Thanks tonight I can now just cut the one, and the tutorial is easy too :) ~ thanks you are a star :)

    Dan can you tell me what package you are using please ie ...word etc i dont seem to have that tool bar or maybe i just cant find it lol helpppppppp thanx xxjo xx

    The package is Inkscape, a free program for creating and editing SVG graphics (which is what SCAL uses to cut on the Cricut). You can also save to DXF format if you are using a Craft Robo, in addition to many other formats. You can find it at http://inkscape.org/
